Batchelor Electrical

Brand Evolution & Identity System

We were approached by Batchelor Electrical to support the repositioning and redesign of their long-standing electrical business. Established in 1992, Batchelor Electrical has delivered over 4,000 successful projects across the UK, working with major retail and commercial clients. Their expertise spans both traditional electrical contracting and large-scale renewable energy installations, including solar PV projects for schools, housing associations, supermarkets and more.

Our brief was to bring the brand in line with the company’s current scale and future ambition, while retaining the familiarity and trust built over decades. The solution was to create a cohesive brand system, built around a clear structure: Batchelor Est. 1992 as the umbrella identity, with two sub-brands – Batchelor Electrical and Batchelor Renewables that reflect the business’s dual specialisms.

The visual identity developed around a consistent use of colour and form. A confident blue runs through each sub-brand, paired with yellow for Electrical, and green for Renewables. Orange was used for the Est. 1992. The aim was to ensure each brand felt distinct, but clearly part of a unified whole.

Alongside the identity system, we supported the team with corporate materials, internal communications and visual assets that reflected their continued emphasis on safety, professionalism and technical excellence. The updated branding has been well received by both the Batchelor team and their clients, supporting the business as it continues to grow in the UK market.
